Our new space, comprising 8,630 square feet on the second floor of the Monroe Library, was made possible by generous contributions from the Pan-American Life Insurance Group and an anonymous donor.
There are five offices within the SSC: the Office for Writing and Learning Services (OWLS), the Office for Accessible Education (OAE), the Office of Student Success, the Career Development Center (CDC) and the Academic Advising Center.
The Office for Accessible Education boasts a state-of-the-art testing center, complete with soundproof testing rooms with capacity for 50 students.
Students also have access to The Blue Room, the SSC’s classroom / meeting space, with projection and capacity for 16.
The tutoring and writing center is the crown jewel of the SSC, with capacity for 32 students and flexible seating arrangements.
The combination of services in this centralized location will ensure that Loyola’s diverse student body receives the highest quality support designed in the Ignatian tradition of cura personalis.
