Bio
Briana Brown is an Accessibility Counselor in the Office for Accessible Education. She works with undergraduate & graduate students with last names A-K.
Briana is responsible for providing direct services to students with physical, medical, and psychiatric disabilities. Briana conducts intake interviews, reviews documentation, and determines accommodation eligibility. She also facilitates accommodations between faculty and students and serves as a referral source for the faculty, staff, and students of Loyola. Briana graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA with a B.A. in Psychology in 2016. In 2019, Briana earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Forensics from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. As a New Orleans native, Briana has passionately worked in serving her community by providing psychosocial rehabilitation and community psychiatric support and treatment as a mental health professional.
