As an Academic Advisor/Success coach, Emma Boelter supports undergraduate students as they navigate their road through Loyola. Her focus is to build close relationships with students and empower them to set and achieve meaningful personal and academic goals. Before joining the Student Success Team full-time, Emma served as a Graduate Assistant Success Coach since August 2019. In addition to working as an advisor/coach, Emma is completing her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Loyola University New Orleans.

A native of Atlanta, GA, Emma first moved to New Orleans in 2013 to attend Tulane University, where she received a B.A. in both English and Political Science. After graduating, Emma moved to New York City and worked as a Sales Executive and Assistant Sales Training Manager at Yelp Inc. Emma could not stay away from The Big Easy for long though, and returned in the summer of 2019. Emma is very happy to call New Orleans home again, and is excited to have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of students as they explore this vibrant campus and city.
