Joseph Kalita

Joseph Kalita is a Graduate Assistant with Loyola's Student Success Center and a second-year graduate student with the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.  Joseph graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Neuroscience.  In his current program, Joseph is particularly interested in sexuality and gender, suicidality, mood disorders, and existentialism. 

During his undergraduate years at UNLV, Joseph worked as a Research Assistant in a Memory & Cognition Lab and a Sports Psychology Lab.  He served as the UNLV Taekwondo Club President during his senior year and spent his free time working at a local comic book store.

Joseph is excited to work with students on transitioning from high school to undergraduate, learning study techniques and coping skills to help them grow and succeed during their years in college.
