Leah Rosenberg

Leah Rosenberg joined TRIO as a Project Advisor in the summer of 2024. Originally from the Washington D.C./MD area, she has lived in numerous places, including Florence, Italy. She has worked in higher education for over 20 years as a college professor teaching a wide range of classes in both the humanities and social sciences. She moved back to New Orleans in 2019 and is delighted beyond words to be here both in New Orleans and at Loyola University New Orleans. She holds a Ph.D. from Emory University in American Studies, an M.A. from the University of California, Irvine in Medical Sociology, and a B.A. from the University of Maryland in Anthropology. She is an avid lover of hotdogs, both thinking about and eating them, but sadly limits herself to one per year. She also has three dogs and five cats all of whom are ungrateful and sometimes cheeky, but she dotes on them
