Bio
Maika Llaneza serves as the Assistant Director for the Office for Accessible Education. She has worked with students with disabilities for 18 years in both K-12 and Higher Education. Maika earned her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and a Master of Science in Special Education. She is also one Capstone Seminar from a Master of Arts in English Literature and a Master of Arts in Theology - Institute for Spirituality and Social Justice Program at Xavier University, Cincinnati.
In addition to her role at the university, Maika is a children's literature and graphic novel writer. Her personal essays can also be found in various magazines and podcasts. She considers herself an avid reader and fan of all things spooky.
