Paul Chu

Paul Chu serves as an academic advisor and success coach for the Pan-American Life Student Success Center. He graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Accountancy in Accounting and Finance in 2021. In this role, Paul aims to work alongside students to achieve academic goals while creating an environment that promotes holistic growth in their overall skills and capabilities.  

In addition to his work at the university, Paul serves as a founder and mentor of an educational non-profit called Storm Surge, in which he mentors and follows the academic career of at-risk youth in his community of lower Plaquemine Parish. He also volunteers as an educational specialist and curriculum consultant for incoming teachers and educators hoping to serve at-risk youth in the Greater New Orleans area. In addition, he has hosted and developed over 35 educational workshops throughout the city, working with communities regarding the topics such as financial literacy, community organizing, and preventative healthcare.

Outside of educational spaces, you can find Paul hanging out at local coffee shops, vintage car shows, or various martial art studios.
