Bio
Paul Chu serves as the data analyst manager for the Student Success Center. In this role, Paul leads in developing, planning, and implementing data-informed strategies for student services related to student progression, retention, and graduation. He graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Accountancy in Accounting, Finance, and Business Analytics in 2021 and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship in 2023. In addition to his roles at the Student Success Center, Paul is an Adjunct Faculty member for the College of Business and the College of Arts & Sciences.
Outside of his work at the university, Paul serves as a founder and mentor of an educational non-profit called Storm Surge, in which he mentors and follows the academic career of at-risk youth in his community of lower Plaquemine Parish. He also volunteers as an educational specialist and curriculum consultant for incoming teachers and educators hoping to serve at-risk youth in the Greater New Orleans area. In addition, he has hosted and developed over 55 educational workshops throughout the city, working with communities regarding topics such as financial literacy, community organizing, and preventative healthcare.
