First in the Pack
First in the PACK is a mentoring program that supports first-year, first-generation students’ transition from high school to Loyola. First in the PACK is a campus-wide network of faculty, staff, and students who create a community of support as they support first-year students through adjustment challenges and teach them how to navigate Loyola’s resources.
We define first-generation students as students whose parents did not graduate from a bachelor's degree program.
