First in the PACK is a mentoring program that supports first year, first generation students’ transition from high school to Loyola. First in the PACK is a campus-wide network of faculty, staff and students who create a community of support as they support first-year students through adjustment challenges and teach them how to navigate Loyola’s resources.
We define first generation students as students whose parents did not graduate from a bachelor's degree program.
First-year, first generation students who are coming to Loyola this August are invited to apply for a mentor by July 31, 2018.

We have selected our peer mentors for the 2018-2019 year.
Faculty and staff can still volunteer to be a mentor!
